Sarah - Pre-school Manager

Sarah joined the Pre-school in October 2019. Sarah has a BA Honours Degree in Children's Learning and Development and her Early Years Professional Status. Sarah has two sons of her own and has over 25 years experience working in childcare. She is responsible for the overall running of the Pre-school, including the admissions, partnerships with parents, staff management, recruitment and working with the committee. 

Donna - Deputy Manager 

Donna began working at the Pre-school in September 2017 as a volunteer.  She was already NVQ Level 3 qualified and had previously worked in a day care nursery and as a nanny. She then spent some time bringing up her own young family.  After a brief spell volunteering, she was offered a job at the Pre-school running the lunch club and a few months later she became a Key Person with us too.  Donna was recently promoted to Deputy Manager and she now supports Sarah in the day to day running of the Pre-school.  Donna is currently studying towards her Foundation Degree in Children's Learning and Development.  

Helen - SENDCO & Senior L3 Early Years Practitioner

Helen has been with the Pre-school since 2002 when her twin daughters attended. Helen is qualified to CACHE Level 3 and has completed training with ‘Jabadao’ to support children’s natural desire for whole-hearted, full-bodied movement play. Helen's dedication to the Pre-school, patience and hard work have been hugely beneficial to the Pre-school. Helen is the Pre-school Senco and she has completed additional Special Educational Needs training to enhance her role.  

Sue - Senior L3 Early Years Practitioner

Sue has been working at the Pre-school since 1997 when her son also attended. Sue is NVQ Level 3 qualified. She has works hard establishing close bonds with her key children and she is an established and reliable member of the staff team. Sue carries out an admin role at the Pre-school, supporting Sarah with some of the office tasks. 

Karen - L3 Early Years Practitioner.  Karen was a registered childminder when she joined the Pre-school in September 2012 and is NVQ Level 3 qualified.  Karen's two daughters both attended the Pre-school and Karen was Chairperson of our committee during that time, so she knew the Pre-school very well before becoming a member of staff.  As well as being a key person to a group of children, Karen helps with maintenance and health and safety tasks.  

Ann - L3 Early Years Practitioner

Ann joined the Pre-school in May 2013 having previously worked at a Pre-school in Camberley. Ann started working with children when the youngest of her 3 children started at a local primary school. In her spare time she got involved as a parent volunteer at the school and also helped run a Bracknell toddler group. Ann is qualified to a Level 3 Diploma Children’s & Young People’s Workforce. 

Kellie - L3 Early Years Practitioner

Kellie initially worked at the Pre-school after qualifying as a NVQ Level 3 practitioner. Having left in 2005 she returned and started working with us again in February 2019, having been to work at other nurseries.  Kellie is a key person to a small group of children and works 3-4 days per week.

Susan - L3 Early Years Practitioner  

Susan has been with the Pre-school since July 2016.  She qualified to NVQ Level 3 and has over 12 years experience within a day care nursery where she progressed from a student up to Assistant Deputy Manager.  Susan began by providing us with temporary cover but now that her own children are both at school she has taken on a permanent role as a Key Person with us.

Anu - L3 Early Years Practitioner - currently on maternity leave

Anupama or Anu, as we call her, began here in October 2018 helping at lunch club as well as during some of the sessions and providing cover. Anu previously worked as a support assistant for children with English as an Additional Language for Bracknell Forest Council so we already knew Anu through this role before she applied to work with us.  Anu recently qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner and now works with us as a Key Person. Anu is on maternity leave from June 2023. 

Jessica - L3 Early Years Practitioner

Jessica joined the team in January 2023.  She is Early Years Level 3 and Montessori trained and currently also works as a Nanny to 2 children. She has years worth of experience in day care settings, holiday clubs, secondary school and as a registered childminder graded Outstanding by Ofsted.
